Local Lifestyle
Westlake residents enjoy the convenience of an easy commute to anywhere in the Austin metropolitan area. They have chosen a quiet seclusion away from the noise of the city, instead embracing the Texas Hill Country and the views from Westlake. They protect their tranquil community but get loud on Friday nights for Westlake High School football games. Westlake citizens are frequently excited to boast about their hometown heroes, such as Drew Brees, Nick Foles, Justin Tucker, and Sam Erlinger, all graduates of Westlake High School.
Once the excitement of Friday football has calmed, residents return to their peaceful community of large estates perched among well-manicured lawns. These multi-million dollar luxury mansions are breathtaking in their own right, but homeowners make an effort not to steal from the stunning splendor around them.
